Hello everyone. I just got informed that my discord account got hacked. I rushed to check and i found many DM's sent from my account to various people with a link. Please do not open that link at all. I'm still shocked and confused as to how this happened at all. But i will deactivate my discord and delete that account immediately to prevent further spread of this. I'm humbly apologizing because I myself would never endanger other players like this. 

 

If you have received any DM's from me today with a link in it, block my account and delete the message.

We had to temporarily remove you from the PRO Discord since you were sending links to so many gamers (to me as well).
However, once you have deactivated your account (or changed your password), please contact me on Discord so that I can invite you back on this or the new account

Discord uses IP (and other methods) to ban users by default, therefore you will most likely be unable to rejoin before I manually invite you back.

 

As for how you got hacked, the only way to end up in this situation is to click on the same kind of links your account sent to people. You were most likely sent a scam by another hacked person, and thus you were hacked as well after clicking on it.

These bots operate similarly to an epidemic or a virus by infecting one account and then utilize that account to infect other accounts, which in turn infect others.

Update:

 

All is well and sorted on my side. I deactivated my discord account permanently and will use the forum going forward. I sincerely hope no one was affected by it. Thanks for the PRO staff for not issuing a ban on my game account, all things considered that was fair to do I guess, so thanks staff. I appreciate it.
