i fought him twice and he beat me. when i went back i hit the wrong key and it reset the quest asking to bring a new charmander/squirtle when i already did that and leveled them up fully ev and all. do i need to do it again?? or can it be fix to use what i have done already

Unfortunately, you will indeed have to train up a new Charmander and defeat Professor Oak with it.

Since this was not an error on our end, there is nothing for us to fix.
