Hi i have the next problem. i was trading pokemon with a friend to beat a gym leader and we choose the lend option in the trade and set it in 10min. image.png.484a101762f7943042da6c81cdf8da4a.png

when the pokemon come back to my inventory he have no item equiped. i ask to my friend and he lost the item too. It took me a long time to get that item. please i want a solution

Hello, held items get removed and put in the inventory when you trade and when the Pokemon returns.

This means, your friend never had your item. It returned to your inventory when you completed the lending trade.
