I’m currently in sinnoh and can’t get to the port city to get to Christmas event Bc the way is blocked by camera crew, do I have to beat sinnoh before I can participate? 

Hello @Nickkloss.

 

You do not have to beat the Sinnoh League in order to access the event island. You simple need to be able to access the sailor, this applies for all regions.

So, in Sinnoh, you’ll need to unlock Canalave City, which doesn’t happen until after the fifth badge.
