I’m hoping to get clarification because according to the time stamps it was around 16 hours so I’m confused why you would win. But if I don’t have an answer by the end of the day of my work I guess I’ll trade it to you it’s not fair to you to have to sit and wait. So after work if they haven’t answered it’s yours

Hello @Dasnowman

The only extentions allowed are per the 15 minute rule as stated in the Auction Rules:

Quote

Auction Rules
9. End point is final and must be honoured.

- In-game: End points cannot be extended for any reason, and must be accurate to the second that the auction is set to end. It is recommended to use timestamps to manage your auction correctly.

e.g. If the auction ends at 15:00:00, bids are valid until 14:59:59 and no later.

- Forum: If a bid is received in the final 15 minutes of the auction, the end point will be delayed by 15 minutes from that bid, and will be delayed by 15 minutes for each new bid thereafter, until the current offer has been held for a full 15 minutes. Must be accurate to the minute that the auction is set to end.

e.g. If the auction ends at 15:00, it will end at 15:00:00. If a late bid is received in the final 15 minutes, at 14:46, the auction will end at 15:01. If another user bids at 15:00, the auction will be extended again, and will end at 15:15, this will be repeated until the current offer has been held for a full 15 minutes.

Your auction could go on for weeks or months if we allowed this kind of extention, if someone bids by 1 Pokedollars it would be extended by another 24 hours, I read your opening post as "24 hours after first bid" since it looked like a mistake as the other isn't logical and against the Auction Rules.

Auctions need to have a specific end point like "24 hours after first bid" "24 hours as of this post" or an exact point in time, which can be extended only by the 15 minute extention if a bid is received within the last 15 minutes of the auction.

As this was a mistake on your end, the auction start point will be assumed from the starting offer and ended 24 hours from that post, which makes @Pepemelenas the winner with the last valid bid.

Take care,
Manbat.
