My suggestion is a new PRO Tournament (made in a normal Tournament Format), or a PRO league (Made in a format of maybe 10+ players, where they play one another), is played on Pokémon Showdown.

 

This suggestion is for one reason. I really like PvP and battling, however, sometimes laddering gets boring (for me, at least). This is why I'm suggesting that a regular tournament (roughly weekly or monthly) where people can sign up to play (or are invited, idk) for a prize similar to the ones for ladder tournaments, and a league where players play each other, to end up at the top of the league, (maybe in a SPL format, if enough people join in). 

 

The reason why I suggest Pokémon Showdown is because it is simply more accessible to more players, as it doesn't take weeks, or maybe months of hunting to make a proper team and it is generally more efficient for PvPing and play.

 

The specifics of the tournament and league, I haven't figured out yet, however if anyone has any ideas to add please just post them below, or if anyone wants me to go into more detail, once again, just say.

 

TL:DR - Pls add Showdown PvP tournaments 🙂

Showdown tournament was a thing for more than +5 years (ladder tournament) and DEV decided to move to PRO system because it's a MMO, why we would not play there.

Overall I will agree but not on this one, just think we should have auto-scheduled tournament with a swiss system like every 2 days (maybe with different tier like random/monotype/ubers to allow Baby XD001 and give him success)

The tourament I'm suggesting isn't a ladder tournament however, but an elimination one.

Also the idea of different tiers is a good one. Maybe different generations as well?

Suggestions like this one never go through because anyone from the player base can host a tournament like this, and considering how a lot of people john after signing up for some reason, it's not worth it for staff members.
