Yes they said 2016, and i saw the last week the season 2 is delayed for 2017...

im pretty sure its been almost a few years now.

Loved this series too, bummed the 2nd one's been moved back ): There's an anime I've been watching atm that reminds me of attack on titan called koutetsujou no kabaneri/kabaneri of the iron fortress. If you like attack think you might like this too (or at least for me it's tiding me over until season 2 :p)

Well I have read all of the manga and I have to say...Season 1is only the tip of the iceberg, Season 2 will be PHENOMENAL! This story Hajime Isayama has made is amazing and I cannot wait for S2.......

Yea, that's the reason why season 2 is delayed, that anime is created by the people who made season 1 of SnK :3

This anime was recommended by a friend of mine. I started watching it and a few episodes in it started to get gruesome... and I was shocked a woman had recommended this to me. Overall it was a very good first season! I'm very excited to see what season 2 brings. :Crazy:

If you like Attack on Titan i highly recommend Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. It hits all the same themes as Attack on Titan and even made by the same studio.
