I have began with Charmander. Catched a Poliwag, Menki, hoothoot, pikachu and nidoran and is an easy play :-)

154116 Bulbasaur was my starter. I don't really like it but when I started PRO ppl told me "DON'T CHOOSE CHARMANDER OR YOU'LL BE STUCK"

I see people say this all the time and honestly don't understand it. You can catch other pokemon. Picking a starter doesn't mean you have to stick with only one pokemon until you solo the e4. You even start the game with 10,000 poke$ and some pokeballs,a great starter kit to begin your team.

 

Anyway, I personally went with charmander. I always start fire pokemon. I didn't get stuck on the first gym either, I had a 4 man team by that point and wrecked them :Crazy:

  • 2 weeks later...

I had choose charmander as my starter, he has always been my favorite of the kanto starters.
