The android client is currently bugged (black screen) but you are able to move and encounter pokemon. So i ran into a form fearow and was not able to use any attacks or items in battle. Opening the bag was also not possible.

The black screen and battle bugs are both related to an issue with the Android client. The Developers are aware of these issues and are working towards a solution.

Unfortunately, we won't be able to restore the Fearow since you didn't actually catch it. We also cannot spawn a new one since there's no way of knowing what nature, ability, or IVs it would have had, thus making it unfair if you get a really good or really bad one.

While the issues are being worked on, we kindly as for your patience and understanding. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience. 

I wasn’t able to catch it because the bug didn't let me use any items. No warnings in discord or somewhere else that playing on android leads to bugs like this. 

 

As you can see there was no sync pokemon on the first slot so i don't understand why giving me a random one would be unfair. I encountered it and the game didn't allow me to catch it. I have proof of that and now i don't get the chance to get a completely random one? Even the 50% chance of the sync fail is not in this case here because of the missing sync. It don't matter if i catch the pokemon there or a new one that is spawned or just given to me. Same chance. 

 

You guys are really telling me that i was hunting for something, got it and because of a bug i don't get it? A game bug that was not my fault? 

 

If the answer is still no i accept it. Its just a fearow. But hunting in the future with that kind of risk when the game don't allow me to catch a pokemon after maybe hours of hunting... i don't know if hunting pokemon is worth it anymore when you can proof that you get a form/shiny and don't get it because of a game bug and staff is not able to help you.
