Hi. I've searched a little about this, but i found nothing.

So atm, i've all the 8 badges, a shiny, rare pokémon etc, everything is perfect for me, and i love this game. BUT.

I have a problem with Moltres. In order to beat the league you've to kill Moltres. But I'm a guy who wants to catch them all, and I don't want to loose this pokémon. I've read that the legendary would be catchable, so why not him ? Have I to wait a update in order to catch him OR you can catch him later so i can kill it OR he'll be aviable in a future update even if you've killed it ?

I heard you need to have about 750+ in-game hours for the birds to be catchable, could be complete hokum, I can't confirm.

Currently only Mew is obtainable. Not telling how however.

I just want to know if I kill Moltres, i'll be aviable to catch it later when it'll be aviable for everybody ?

Anyway if you want to advance in the game (By beating the Elite 4 and then starting in Johto) you have to "kill" it, else you are stuck.

 

Also when you beat it it says "XXX flew away" which probably means you might be able to encounter it in the future again (Catchable or non catchable event).

Yep I know. But I prefer to stay in kanto and catch my moltres rather than killing it and never be able to find it again.

Defeating Moltres now has nothing to do with a future quest to catch it.

No one has been ingame for 750 hours yt I can confirm and prove this.
