Speaking from a tech background, without much knowledge of how the game is actually programmed. The way that the game appears to be programmed, considering pc storage, would make it very hard to implement a search button, unless they were to spend a considerable amount of time redesigning pc storage, the gui itself, but also the much code involved.

Some staff have already spoken about the PC being reworked after bigger priorities, like Hoenn, are finished. So I don't think this is too much of a stretch. :Grin:
