Hi I have been farming my Z ring's and just beat the tournament with a psychic team and was not awarded the Z ring after 11 straight wins.

 

Correct me if I am wrong but here are the mechanics:

1) You need 2 teams, 3 of each which carry 1 common typing. So I.E. 3 psychic types, and 3 bug types and shown in the photo

2) They do not NEED to all be level 100, but will be used against PvP teams level 100 of specific typing

3) In order to qualify for your ring you must win 6/11 of the 11 matches using your specific typed team of choice. So If i wanted Psychic Z I must win 6 of my 11 matches with my psychic team and the remainder can be done with the others. 

 

I have beaten all 11 matches and won 6 out of 11 using a psychic team of Victini / Mega Alakazam / Mew  and was not awarded my Psychic Z crystal nor could I buy it on the shop for PVE coins. Please help this is annoying

Just to make sure, you say you cannot get specifically the Z-Ring?

 

If it's really the Z-ring and not the Z-Crystals, I believe since about a year ago you must beat the level 50 Mono Tournament once to be awarded the Z-Ring. Afterwards, you'll have the possibility to do the level 100 Mono Tournament and as you described, winning 6 matches out of 11 will award you a Z-Crystal of the type with which you managed to defeat the most Trainers with.

 

If it's really the Z-Crystals you meant, kindly mention it back here and I will look further into it to assist you.

It was the Z-Crystal correct, I already have multiple Z crystals but for some reason after completing this round I was not awarded the psychic one even after winning 6 out of 11 with a psychic team and the remainder with my cheese team. @Kubrick

Thank you for specifying. I haven't heard of any bugs reported recently of players not getting Z Crystals, but it's a possibility this could be the case. To try and confirm this, could I kindly ask you to redo the challenge again and if possible, to beat 7 Trainers instead of 6? If after doing this and winning all 11 matches with 7 wins of that specific type you really do not get your Z Crystal, I will go ahead and investigate further into it.

You are not obligated of course, but if possible, to take screenshots of the last messages when you win the tournament would really tremendously appreciated.

At this point i have beaten 7 matches with psychic , i needed to use my other team for 1 unfavorable match up..

 

 

Okay weird, I got it the 2nd time around, maybe it was a minor bug @Kubrick disregard .. will update you on further glitches I find
