Imfullytorqued
I and others have been very vocal in the discord. I do not mean to pester anyone but the lack of any official word on whether it's even being actively worked on is frustrating. I asked about refund options in discord because I've spent $45 on the game since I started playing Nov 26th. Norex was quick to point me in the right direction. Truthfully though after some thought I don't really want a refund, all I want is to play. And like I said in the discord, I get that these things can be difficult, time consuming, and sometimes life gets in the way. Sometimes there's nothing you can do. But even just some official word from someone announcing that the dev team is working on it would be great, as it is now everyone that asks basically gets told "I don't know". If this was strictly free, I wouldn't be so vocal about this. But the fact is there are people that play on Linux that spent money leading up to Dec. 1st and now they can't play. It truly is unacceptable to be taking peoples money and then not only not provide the service, but not even give an official announcement recognizing the issue and assuring us it's being worked on. All I'm asking at this point is an official announcement that it's being worked on, or that the devs don't care and I should move on. To Norex and DarkSky666(not staff?), I appreciate the help you've tried to provide in the discord in the meantime. 2 Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/247535-linux-client-updatetimeframe/ Share on other sites
Tids
I add to this Hi, I'm the "packager" of the AUR script. Sadly the client is currently broken (see: HERE) This is very frustrating, because I know that some people (the ones regularly ping me that I have to update the script ) do pay for the game. Yet I haven't found a working solution for this. @ staff if you need some beta testers for the Linux builds, please just reach out. Epithet
Hello, So sorry you haven’t received any official word yet on the status of the Linux client. The Dev team is fully aware of the issues facing Linux users and will provide a client shortly after finishing up some work regarding the recent update to Generation IX. I understand that you may be frustrated over not being able to play and wasted time during the event, but it’s solely in the hands of Devs and their time. All I can help you with is letting you know I personally tagged them and informed them of the issue, they did respond, but as I said, they are working on critical work following the latest update. As soon as a working Linux client is released, I will be quick to let you know. If you have any further questions or concerns, please let me know. 2 Game Rules | Resolution Center | PRO Wiki Do not privately contact Staff. Instead, create a thread; it may help other players. Imfullytorqued
@Epithet Thank you for the response, the lack of communication was the most frustrating part.
