Swords of Justice Questline bugged (Terrakion gone)

Hello Team PRO,

 

i wanted to do the Questline for Terrakion yesterday night.

 

I freed Virizion and Terrakion, now Cobalion was the last. The fight was normal, no problem but after that fight, the scene was stuck and i couldn't move.

I restarted the game and the scene was over, but then after every encounter my game froze like before. I could use my bag, shop, pokedex.... but couldn't move.

I just wanted to finish the questline and report this the next day.

 

I choose Terrakion but sadly it got defeated.

Ok, i go to Nicola fast and then i'm done, i thought, but he said he can't do anything for me.

 

Now, its the next day, the freeze bug is gone, but also Terrakion. I checked Nicola again and traveled back to Terrakion's spawn , but it's gone.

 

Can you help me with this?

I wanna ask a few questions to more accurately assess the situation and provide assistance.

 

1. When you say you did the Cobalion fight, do you mean that you went to the Icy Isles Labyrinth map and completed the quest there? (Where the Sailor takes your Pokémon and gives you a Form Oshawott that you gotta train then defeat the NPC Athos)

 

2. When you said "I choose Terrakion but sadly it got defeated", do you mean that you got to the end of the quest where Nikola in Matsuki Village mentions that one of them would like to join your team, you went to the Mountain Area Maze and got into battle with the Wild Terrakion level 50 but sadly it fainted before you caught it?

 

3. Can I ask to which Nikola NPC you went to when you said the next day you went back to check on Nikola again but he couldn't do anything for you? (More precisely, was it the Nikola NPC in Matsuki Village or the Nikola NPC in the Unknown Place)

thanks for reaching out to me.

For your questions:

 

1. I fought Cobalion after the part with the Icy Maze. (Defeated all 6 Minions and Athos after leveling the full party of all 6 pokes. Cobalion and Athos are supposed to walk away like the other two trainers but the animation got stuck after the fight, so i did a re-log).

 

2. Yes, i defeated Terrakion at the end of the Questline where i can choose one of them to catch. Like i said, it was late and i had my Ferrothorn for leveling in my team. I was to tiered and had send it out. Terrrakion hit the Iron barbs and defeated himself. (First time i lost a legend while catching).

 

3. Nikola, the boss in Unknown place. I heard i had to visit the Boss to get a second chance for my legend. I traveled to him but he couldn't help me.

Desperately, i checked Terrakion's arena again, but It's still missing (at this point i know i have to write a ticket).

Hello again. Thank you for answering the questions.

 

Everything isn't lost. Going by your answers, I believe the situation would call for you to try and get it via Birth Island by using a Mysterious Ticket. Sadly, Nikola cannot restore the chosen Sword of Justice Pokémon after missing to catch them. Only by encountering it on Birth Island will you get a chance to catch it again. I understand this may not be ideal or the situation you hoped for, and for that I present you my sincere apologies.

 

If I am not mistaken, the spawning system of Birth Island was changed in December 2024, so it shouldn't be as long or hard to find your Legendary Pokémon again.
