The Dragonspiral Monkey chase.

Featured Replies

All those that already did the Zekrom quest must be quite familiar with the monkey chase inside Dragonspiral Tower 4F. And for me it's not uncommon to go back around there to hunt. The spawns are quite nice, and not a lot of people are around. Though, legendary caught or not, the Pansage chase stays mandatory.

For most players, this can be alright. It's not the hardest, though usually, one error makes it that you're forced to restart... And that's still a little timesink if you fail repeatedly.
For mobile players however, it's just a pain to go through. I understand why it's in place, don't get me wrong. But is it really necessary once we get zekrom and/or reshiram to do it again to hunt on a higher floor ?

A fix to this could be as follows : A NPC on this floor, not unlike the Psychics with their Teleport mons on big routes, before the chase, that would teleport you at the end of the floor, but asks for you to show the caught data for Zekrom. That way, we keep the Pansage run for the first runners of the tower wanting to complete their quest, and would not mandatory to do anymore for those wanting to go to the 5th or 6th floor to go hunting.
This is not a high priority fix, of course, but it could be a nice QoL add for players.
