This is because bids made in-game are valid from the moment they are posted on the forum, not the in-game time.

 

Since a screenshot of @Itachi1701's bid was posted on the forum at 4:30, the auction was extended until 4:45. Therefore, @Oregairu's offer of 820k is valid as it was posted at 4:44, which falls within the extended time.

 

Trades have been reversed, and the correct outcome has been forced.
