Charizard Y quest

Featured Replies

I looked through a couple thread's here and saw that someone said you didn't have to be the OT for the charmander to be able to do the quest so I bought one that had the right nature and high enough IV's but when I talk to Oak he says I need to catch a new one, does this mean I do need to be the OT and I got scammed (Unknowingly on the other person's part or not) or is this a bug?

Nevermind I think I figured it out, I had bought the charmander before I talked to Oak so it didn't count.

Hello there @Escanorian12 I apologize for the confusion caused here. As you now already know, the Charmander must be caught after speaking with Oak to be eligible for this quest. This is not a bug or a scam for another player and I apologize again for not being able to assist you sooner with this issue. I'm glad you managed to figure it out yourself and now this issue is resolved, I will lock this topic.

Have a great day!
