You need proof such as screenshots. next time trade evo with someone you trust.. (If this was a trade to get haunter into gengar)

Probably he traded it from Haunter so he can evolve him to Gengar , but the thing is , you need someone you can trust to do it. I guess that's the way he got scammed :(

The staff member frequently tell us to take screenshots whenever we trade in order to prevent getting scammed. Hope you screenshotted the trade otherwise I think there is nothing anyone can do for you :( Next time I suggest trade with someone you trust or look for tradepartners here in forum or whatsoever. Sorry for your loss.

All players are advised to keep evidence for when they are trading or speaking with people they don't know. You never know when someone could have a misdeed, and having the screenshots will ensure that these players can get the appropriate punishments. We all want the game to be an enjoyable experience after all.
