Hello everyone

 

I have a problem. I have been trying to catch the Pokemon Frillish for days. I first started on the Sevi Islands, at treasure beach. I tried for over three hours to catch a frillish with the super rod - without success.

Then I went to the Safari Zone in Kanto and tried to catch a frillish by surfing for 20 minutes three times. No success either.

I took this information from the wiki.
Is this information incorrect? Or was I just extremely unlucky?

Hello there @Timjr99 Firstly, the information you used from the PROwiki is accurate and up-to-date, Frillish can be encountered at both of these locations. In the Safari Entrance, Frillish can only be encountered with an active Membership and, like in all Frillish's spawns, it is the highest tier of the rarity scale at Rare. As for Treasure Beach, I would advise against hunting for Frillish here. Fishing, in PRO and in the main series games, is simply outclassed by Surfing due to a higher number of encounters.
