Although the name change request may take up to 48 hours, sometimes it may take a bit longer. This is because PRO staff is purely volunteer and each staff member has their own obligations outside of PRO (work, school, family, social life, etc.). As soon as a staff member that is capable of sorting out this is available, your name will be changed. I apologize if this may not have been the answer you were looking for.
