Link between Pokedex and Map

If I want to catch a Pokemon, I would look up where to find it in the Pokedex.

Then I get the names of all areas, but I have absolutely no idea where these areas are. Kanto? Johto? Event Map? ...

 

So my suggestion would be to make the area name interactive (clickable), which opens the map with a little cursor or something to show where this area actually is.

 

Maybe it's not urgent, because you can look it up in the wiki, but it would be pretty nice to have, in my opinion.

Hey, I really like that suggestion and its something I have wanted for some time already since we have many custom-areas already and add more of them frequently.

As you have mentioned double-checking through the wiki is a workaround but of course not ideal. This is known by the developers and may be adressed in the future but currently its not possible since the required data is saved in different locations, so it would require a complete rework of certain things.
