I accidentally leveled up my Togepi to level 100 without knowing that it requires happiness to evolve. Now I’m trying to use a Mysterious Candy, but it’s not working. Can anyone help me evolve it or de-level my Pokémon by 1

I apologize for the inconvenience. The happiness evolution mechanic was recently changed to behave like the OG games which requires 160 happiness and a level up to evolve. 

 

Although at level 100 you would require the use of a Mysterious Candy; unfortunately, the use of the Mysterious Candy to trigger a happiness based evolution is not yet fixed. This will hopefully be working soon. With that being said, I am also unable to de-level your Pokemon in this matter.

Thank you for the clarification. I appreciate you taking the time to explain the recent changes to the happiness evolution mechanic. I understand that the Mysterious Candy method for happiness-based evolutions is not yet functional, and I’ll wait for the fix to be implemented.

If there’s any update or alternative solution in the meantime, I’d be grateful if you could share it here so I can try it out as soon as possible.
