Upon review the auction was NOT finished upon @Rinoc's bid of 13.1m nor the previous bids. @Kaamikaze and @Itaduro your trade has been reversed.

 

The ruling decision will be that this auction has been extended by 24 hours from now with @Rinoc's 13.1m bid. This will include the 15 minute rule as the 15 minute rule is not optional during auctions. 

 

The 24 hour window is to give every player the chance to rebid no matter the time zone.

 

@Itaduro failure to continue the auction will result in actions being taken further.

 

"Forum: If a bid is received in the final 15 minutes of the auction, the end point will be delayed by 15 minutes from that bid, and will be delayed by 15 minutes for each new bid thereafter, until the current offer has been held for a full 15 minutes. Must be accurate to the minute that the auction is set to end." Found here

I think it's unfair that it has to be extended another day if I was bidding fairly and respecting the 15-minute rule, especially if the other player took advantage of the auctioneer's mistake. I understand that I would have won on good terms, and now I have to wait another 24 hours and maybe not win. It doesn't make sense and doesnt support the players who do comply.

Be glad. At least they extended it. I had a blace auction go south and they just yoinked it from the winner and yoinked 8-9mill from me and gave it to someone else for half the price.  Over “seconds” on the 15min rule as bids went on for millions at the end.

With all due respect, I understand this is frustrating, but this is our current policy regarding these situations. If you can make a reasonable suggestion you are more than welcome to, and I for one would happily read it. Our job isn't to be the mean fun police or to be unfair to anyone. We are always looking to evolve, and do what's fair for the player base.

 

Reality is you didn't win. You extended an auction that was cut short. There were no opportunities to bid past your bid before the auction was cut short.

 

In all my rulings I try and give the best explanation for every instance I get involved, and I have done so in this case. 

 

If you feel I made a misjudgment you can make a thread Here and if you have a suggestion on how we realistically could change how we operate you can make a thread here we do actually read the suggestions.
