I just got this game and can't play. Each time I log in a black screen with loading map appears and does not go away. I am in Professor Oaks Lab waiting to select my first pokemon.

 

Any idea how I can fix this?

Try reinstalling the game, that fixes most issues like this. Post here again in more detail if that doesn't help.

I also cannot load when I entered the cave leading to unknown place, just stuck in that screen cant do anything, relog doesnt fix it

Seens that Unknown place is bugged somehow... tried to enter there from Trainers valley and the same happened with me... Black screen with the Loading Map info not going anywhere
