I just beat E4 in Hoenn and am trying to do transportation quest and cannot bring the electric barriers down. I have read a few guides about this and it seem that there should be some aqua grunts here for me to beat to disable the barriers, but i don't see any. Am I doing something wrong here, or did i miss any step in the quest? Please help!

Im sorry to see you're having problems with the Hoenn Transporter Quest. I will look into the issue. 

 

When you surfed on route 110 to New Mauville, do you encounter the NPC Watson before you head down the stairs? 

 

To start the quest, did you talk to Watson inside the Mauville Pokecenter?

 

 

Oh I thought I was supposed to talk to the security officer in the poke center to start the quest. I talked to Watson and started the quest successfully, thank you and sorry for asking without proper research.
