I am posting this on behalf of my roommate who has been playing PRO for the last couple months. When he first started he evolved his Eevee into a Jolteon because it looked cool and he didn't understand the game or stats at all. Once he started learning the game he realized he would have a much better Umbreon with the stats it had. So he wanted to know if there is any way to devolve a pokemon that evolves by stone. Even if the pokemon goes back to lvl 1 with no EV training complete and the ability to do this involves a difficult or expensive quest. This way now that he understands the game he can get the pokemon he wants. there would also be the added benefit to other players where the lower forms can learn moves their evolved forms cannot they have the chance to go back if they evolve their pokemon by accident and have a do-over.

I don't think this will ever be possible for many reasons: The biggest might be a coding problem, since evolved forms can learn moves the pre evolution can't the system would have to know which move is not obtainable for the pre evolution and erase that move once the stone is used. Furthermore that never got invented in Pokemon whatsoever and I think for a good reason.

Im sure this will never happend , true coding it will take forever , also there is no devolution stone on pokemon.so i dont think so this is a good suggestion.

its pretty near-impossible with the current resources, however the idea along is very much promising

would it really be so hard? its almost the same as a NPC trading, but it would reset the pokemon's move + EVs + take it back to lvl 5 in his first evolution form. Only issue may be to keep IVs and nature.

I can learn Thunder then deevolve to Eevee and evolve it to Espeon
