During the Darkrai mission, my friend fought against Darkrai and lost, but still entered the dark world. my friend ask what rewards he will lose? Or how?

There are two different Darkrai fights. The first Darkrai fight is designed for the player to lose (this is the fight where Alucard unveils that he is Darkrai) and  and the second fight is at the end of the quest and is winnable.

 

When you lose the first fight, you will be sent to the Edge of Darkness where you can step on the light to go into the Dark Realm. This defeat on the first encounter does not effect the rewards. 

 

The rewards that are determined by your loses are the chance to get a Clone starter. If you lose to many times while in the Dark Realm then when the time comes to get your Clone starter you will receive a normal starter instead.
