Hello,

 

I am contacting you regarding a boss fight I lost due to a server disconnection.

 

As of January 8th, 2026, the game has been experiencing repeated server issues and disconnections for more than a week. The disconnection that caused my defeat happened during this unstable period and was entirely server-side. This was not related to my connection, my client, or any action on my end.

 

As a result, I received a 12-day cooldown and lost my winstreak, which represents a significant setback. I fully accept defeats when they are caused by my own mistakes, but in this case, the outcome was clearly due to ongoing server instability, which was completely outside of my control.

 

I understand that automatic resets or restorations cannot be granted in every case, as this could lead to potential abuse. However, given the exceptional circumstances and the recurrent server instabilities over the past days, I believe that a form of compensation would be the least that could be considered.

 

I have been playing Pokémon Revolution Online since 2016 and have consistently supported the game by maintaining a paid membership over many years and many hours of gameplay. Given this long-term commitment, I believe it is reasonable to ask for a fair reconsideration in this specific situation.

 

I am not requesting special treatment, only a solution that reflects the fact that this loss was caused by server-side issues. A cooldown reset, winstreak restoration, or any appropriate compensation would be greatly appreciated.

While I do apologize for the delay, I want to remind you that every member of staff operates on a pure volunteer basis meaning that each member has outside obligations (work, school, etc.). Each member juggles these responsibilities while also volunteering time to support the game and its players.

Yes, the game has been experiencing disconnections. Be that as it is, going into content where a lose (no matter the cause) results is a cooldown period is a risk is advised against during periods of instability.

While we are glad that you have been around for quite some time, that does not entitle you to special treatment. Once again, knowing that the servers were experiencing instability and doing Boss NPC fight is risk that is advised against.

To be clear, you do not lose the win streak that you have when you lose to a boss NPC. Specifically, if you win 2 matches, lose the 3rd, and win the 4th, then you are eligible for the 3rd win reward. You will have to wait for the cooldown of the boss and challenge them again at that time.

 

I do apologize for the experience but there is nothing that can be done regarding the issue.
