Kryptos Posted June 4, 2016 Share Posted June 4, 2016 Fear not, if you make it route 8 you can get a free growlithe. The starter pokemon theory for the abandoned pokemon is not confirmed. It is likely anecdotal, which has turned into an 'old wives tale'.
