Gwynble1dd
Hello to all the staff members. As you may have noticed, we're a very diverse community, with some who are never satisfied with anything, some who enthusiastically embrace new things, and some who demand something new every week. Given the widespread discontent, which apparently emerges regardless of your schedule, I was just making a point: in my opinion, you have enough material to be able to schedule events in a stable manner, making them cyclical, stable, and above all, well-known—an aspect not to be underestimated. Every year, with every event, the mass hysteria of "when is the event coming out?" "How long is the event?" ... well, in my opinion, if you scheduled the various events, then respected their release dates, you would increase the number of active players, reduce the "dead time" between one event and the next (which distances players, perhaps permanently, from the game), and eliminate much of the controversy. Here an example December 1st - January 31st: Christmas Event February 1st - March 15th: Valentine's Day Event March 16th - April 1st: April Fool's. April 2nd - May 3rd: Easter Event May 4th - May 15th: Star Wars Event May 16th - June 15th: Clone Event (maybe adding clone versions for every starter?) June 16th - August 15th: Summer Event August 16th - September 10th: New event: Back to School theme (maybe you could just release new forms of Pokemon, without the event island, quests and all the rest) September 11th - October 10th: New Event: Oktoberfest-themed Pokemon (just the skins, without the event island or quests) October 11th - November 30th: Halloween Event. Aside from the back-to-school and Oktoberfest themes, you already have a solid base that allows you to release the existing events. I wouldn't wait until everything is in order, until you've tested new quests, etc., etc. ... schedule them and launch them as is. If you then implement new quests or new areas in existing event islands, it will only be a gain for us. Last thing: optimize your communication with the community. I missed Ursaluna Bloodmoon because there wasn't a simple announcement on Discord. I participated in the Larvesta Anniversary purely by chance, because it wasn't announced. I don't think a communications officer would be a bad idea. Greetings, we appreciate the time you all spend working on this game but we also believe things could be better organized 1 Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/272897-annual-routine-of-events/ Share on other sites

Mysticwind
-1 First, many events are either too long and will make the event not friendly, for example I dont want a that long Halloween event, max 1 month is the best. 2nd) I think we cant predict some issue. Mainly event coming with a client and we dont know what could happens so giving a ETA is not good. But +1 for the outbreak. Even a little icon will be cool and giving informations about the pokemon you can hunt. Yeah, i agree with you about the duration, should be shorter than my sample, Also because a little break between events is great for recharging your batteries. The point, however, is to define a schedule and stick to it. If the event arrives with the client update, it can still be released. I don't understand the point of releasing a new client but delaying the start of the event... anyway, if the game doesn't work, it won't work on normal maps either... from my point of view Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/272897-annual-routine-of-events/#findComment-1694760 Share on other sites
