Hello,

I am reporting an issue regarding access to Shamouti Island. Yesterday, I was able to enter the island without any problems and I had already started the quest (I have already defeated one of the three birds).

However, after leaving the island temporarily to visit a Move Relearner, I found myself unable to return. When I try to go back, I am denied access.

I am aware there was a recent quest rework and Pokedex data deletion, but since I was already inside and progressing through the quest yesterday, this feels like a bug or an inconsistent permission check triggered by me leaving the map.

The Legendary Bird Quest (and Shamouti Island) has the following pre-requisites:

• Kanto Championship
• All Kanto non-legendary caught data
• Seen data for Moltres, Articuno, and Zapdos

According to our database, you are missing quite a bit of the Kanto caught data and also the seen data for Articuno and Zapdos.

 

To acquire the seen data for Articuno and Zapdos you need to go battle them in their respective locations.

• Articuno - Seafoam Island 4F
• Zapdos - Kanto Power Plant

To identify the missing caught data, you can check your Pokedex for entries that are missing a Pokeball icon on the bottom right of the Pokemon's Pokedex entry.

 

When you have gotten these requirements you will be able to speak to Sailor Sam at the Vermilion City Dock and begin the quest.
