Hi,

About 1 month ago I earned a mysterious ticket (through world quest) and used it to go to Birth Island.

I found a Hydreigon there.

However, I already had Suicune (for more than a year I would say) and I don't have neither Entei or Raikou.

I expected to get one of them on the island.

I thought I was just unlucky and that there was some probability to get a pseudo-legendary even though you still have legendaries available to catch.

I now understand it was a bug. I went to interact with Suicune again in order to solve the bug.

Is it possible to get a mysterious ticket back since I could not get a legendary from the previous one ?

Can you assure me that the bug is solved and that Raikou and Entei will now be obtainable through mysterious ticket ?

Thanks 🙂

Hi!

I am sorry to hear you were having problems trying to catch Entei and Raikou, but the situation you are describing is most likely not a bug.

In Pokémon Revolution Online the Mysterious Ticket encounter for Birth Island isn't guaranteed to give you either Raikou or Entei even if you have not been able to catch them yet.

You are still able to get other rare Pokémon such as the Hydregion as he is classed as a Pseudo-Legendary, this all depends on how the system rolls your encounter.

Because of this, using the ticket and not getting the desired legendary is considered normal and so tickets are not usually refunded. Re-interacting with Suicune will also not change the results of the previous ticket that was used.

If you do believe something has gone wrong during this encounter then i encourage you to report it in the bug forms with any proof you may have, but unfortunately from what you're describing it looks like intended behavior more than a bug.

I understand this isn't the outcome you were hoping for, however if you are able to provide any evidence of it being a bug then i will look further into this for you.

Thanks!

Hi, thanks for your answer.

What I understand is that even if I meet all requirements to meet a legendary that I don't already own, on Birth Island, there is still a chance than I don't meet this legendary, and I meet a pseudo-legendary instead ?

If yes, could you give me the probability to meet a pseudo-legendary instead of a legendary ?

Also, this means that in order to catch Entei/Raikou, I'll need to spend all my mysterious tickets until one day, I get them out of luck ?

The wiki (which I know can be wrong sometimes) says : "If the player meets the requirements to meet a legendary, it has 100% chance to spawn [...]" (see screenshot attached)

Thanks !

Hello @Satellar ,

As of November 14th 2024 that is not true anymore. It was changed to as long as you can find a legendary on Birth Island, you will find one guaranteed instead of having a chance to find a pseudo-legendary.
