pokedex issue

i did a dex service with someone today they lended me the pokemon i was missing for 10k and my dex never updated i tried relogging one of the in game mods said i should post here

no it was on this account in the event poke center im not going to lie over 10k or 4 poke that i dont even get to keep its not that big a deal either im just trying to get to love island if you can tell me how to do that or link me to a resource id be grateful

To clarify, this was not intended to say that you were untruthful; rather, to inform you that the data that we have does not have any record of the trade. This, in turn, is reflected in your Pokedex not registering the caught data.

To access Love Island, you need to have Kanto caught data and 38 registered evolution data. Once you have both of these requirements, you can speak with the Love Sailor in Vermilion City on the dock.
