Antreas13
With a friend of mine from the game, I noticed that in his Pokedex he writes a different explanation and in mine he writes another for the same Pokémon and for the same ability. Why does this happen and if so, is this phenomenon also present in other Pokémons? Bitterblade
Good day @Antreas13 This happens because of a difference in "Accurate Descriptions" setting. This setting, found under general settings, shows accurate information about what moves, abilities, and items actually do instead of the vague original game descriptions. In the case of Corviknight's ability Pressure, the description "Causes opposing moves targeting it to lose 1 extra PP" is displayed when the setting is enabled and "By putting pressure on the opposing Pokemon, it raises their PP usage" is when the setting is disabled. This applies to all moves, abilities, and items. I hope this clears up any confusion you may have and look forward to hearing from you. Bitterblade
Good day @Antreas13 If the opposing Pokemon has the ability Pressure and you use the move Roost, then you will lose 1 extra PP on the move Roost when you use it. The same can be said if you have a Pokemon that has the ability Pressure and the opposing Pokemon uses the move Roost it will use up 1 extra PP. Keep in mind that the ability Pressure applies to all moves used against it. I hope this information finds you well. Bitterblade
Good day @Antreas13 Firstly, I apologize as I misspoke. Pressure applies to moves that are directed at the Pokemon that has the ability Pressure. Since Roost does not target the opposing Pokemon, it is unaffected. I apologize for the misinformation. I hope this finds you well and hope that your questions have been answered appropriately.
