Lost Pokeballs

I recently logged in and trying to catch charmanders. When I have encountered a magby and trying to catch it. I don't have my catching items. I bought another 400+ just to proceed to catching.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Have you recently taken part of any in-game content where your Pokeballs were temporarily taken (such as Pinkan Island Quest or the Heatran Quest). If so, you will need to speak with the NPC that has removed the Pokeballs from your bag to reclaim them (e.g., in the Pinkan Island Quests, the Pinkan Ranger in the southern part of Pinkan Island removes all Pokeballs as you are not allowed to catch the Pokemon in the area until you complete the quest).
