I've been trying to catch a good pokemon to beat Sabrina in kanto so I decided on absol. Is it possible to catch absol in kanto? I have ms. I've been getting mixed answers from people. Please help!

No. It's members in Mt Silver, but you only get access after Johto elite 4, and then the next place to catch is Route 120 which is in Hoenn :Grin:

Unfortunately at that point your only option for a Dark-type is to catch a Murkrow or Houndour. Good luck, I hope you can pass Sabrina :Grin:

You may be able to buy one from another player, but I can't remember if the ones from Mt. Silver is considered Kanto or not. Also, Gastly/Haunter is a really great option for clearing Kanto in general. I think if you grab a Gastly and head to Seafoam Islands (the little water caves below Fuchsia) then you can hit 80 in almost no time at all there.

I used a Raticate with Bite my first time through. Granted, I was a noob (arguably still am...), but I had literally no issues.

The best poke is Umbreon it smashed sabrina and mewtwo.

Dark type Pokemon like Umbreon will help. Bug types will help aswell, just make sure you level those Pokemon up to 50-55.
