Arcanine moveset?

Featured Replies

Everywhere I look has moves like Flare Blitz or Morning Sun, which to my knowledge, are not in the game. What do you recommend for a moveset for Kanto E4?

Thanks in advance.

as far as i know arcanine gets flare blitz from growlithe (lvl 45) and morning sun only through egg move tutor.

Arcanine cant learn flare blitz by itself. U are forced to use Fire fang instead now. Same counts for Crunch (lvl 39) -> Bite

My advice (for PvE) is to try Fire Fang, Extreme speed, Bite and Thunder Fang or (for PVP) catch a new Growlithe and evolve it once it learned flare blitz, crunch and outrage. If your Arcananie is really good, u dont need to trash it. Save it till u get access to egg moves

You can get Morning Sun and Flare Blitz from Egg Move Tutor, like Tymerod said.

For PvE purpose especially for E4 Kanto, I prefer Outrage; Flare Blitz; Crunch; Thunder Fang/ Extreme Speed.

Outrage for the 4th Elite Four, Lance.

Flare Blitz and Thunder Fang for the 1st Elite Four, Lorelei.

Crunch for 3rd Elite Four, Agatha.

Extreme Speed is good also, because priority +2.
