Deathwand Posted September 14, 2015 Share Posted September 14, 2015 @Tetsuzan I do believe that if nicknames where implemented it would not last long due to the fact that this is a mmo. there are indeed, "as you noted" people that are inappropriate. People tend to bypass the swear filter as well. As a mmo setting I personally believe that nicknames should not be implemented. Mind you I would love to name my pokemon, would be amazing. Miles Posted September 17, 2015 Share Posted September 17, 2015 I'd rather be potentially exposed to something distasteful or uncomfortable than sacrifice an integral part of Pokemon for awful reasoning. And yes, it's integral to the experience. Without nicknames, there is NO way to personalize your Pokemon. None. Good luck refuting that. Filters already exist in the game (if they're enough for chat, they're enough for Pokemon).
