Currently the Local channel shows all the other channel chats too and it drowns out when people talk locally, which from my experience seems to happen rarely.

 

Sometimes if you look away for a few seconds you'll miss a local chat message.

 

Would it be possible for the local channel to ONLY show messages from players in the same map as you without all the other channels flooding it and almost instantly clearing messages?

 

I apologise if this has been suggested before, the search function doesn't seem to work on the forums it just always displays 0 results to me.
