So I'm inside pokemon tower, a friend challenges me to a battle. I accept, we battle, I lose, I get taken back to pokemon center in Lavender Town. Upon trying to return to the tower, I cannot enter! I keep getting this message popping up.

 

"I do remember that there is a police investigation ongoing at Celadon City."

"That seems to be far more pressing at this time"

And then it won't let me in...

Yellow server. One thing I'm wondering, are you required to beat team rocket and get the 4th badge before going into the tower? If that's the case, I wonder if the bug is me getting into the tower in the first place... rather than the bug being that it doesn't let me back in! At the time of the issue, I didn't have my 4th badge and I didn't even beat team rocket at the gaming room. But as of now, I have beaten team rocket at the gaming room.

I'm pretty sure you have to beat the Celadon Gym before you can enter Pokemon Tower.

Go back to Celadon and defeat Erika. Once you have the 4th badge, you'll be able to re-enter the Pokemon Tower.
