admin?? im still stuck at loading map, is it down??? all servers have same prob...

Hi All

Well looks like everyone got that issue with the loading screen.

 

But instead of crying (like i did int the start ^^) i was considdering issues.

 

Faceing the fact that

1. the background seems to be loaded caused the ingame music playing

2. the "loading map"- bar is manually increase/decrease able

3. the ingame commants not working by numpat ( like 1 for sitting on ur bike wich causes music change )

 

I considdered the "loading screen overlay" to be causing the trouble and we are missing a command line int the (IF row) aswell as "exec" the loading bar.

 

Meaning the error caused to the command of loading a map got an error wich is followed by the "IF loading maps is 100% defade overlay dloading map"

 

Well im not a programmer but logically this would make sence to me.

 

PS: seems to be fixed cause i just could lock in

Yeah, it (the method) works now. But in 6 hours, when the server (RED) will be full with 500-700 people in queue (which is a fair bit of time in itself), I have to wait to get into the game... That could be closing to an hour of just waiting... Might as well give up...

Saddly enough i'm stuck in the loading screen aswell.

227798 So I was able to log in after waiting at the Loading Map screen for around 10-20 minutes or longer. Actually, I got kicked back to the login screen, probably because of the AFK timer, but I tried logging in again, and I could load into the game without issue. I think the server is taking a while to load the game/map data, but once you have it loaded, you should be fine as long as you don't restart the game again. (Not a computer person, so no idea if this is actually how it works / if I'm using the correct terminology or not lol)

 

Based on that, my advice is to log in and just leave your game at the loading map screen for several minutes, don't restart it. Keep an eye on your game every so often to see if you're at the game screen, or if you've been kicked back to the normal login screen. If you have been kicked to the login screen, don't restart your game, just log in and you should be able to play normally. At least, this is how it worked for me (have tested it twice now).

Once again quoting this for visibility.

 

For players who are having trouble logging in, try logging in and leaving your client at the Loading Map screen for 10-20 minutes as Nightjay has suggested. You should be able to log in eventually afterwards.
