Why do most people treat fire types as the easy starter in a pokemon game

Featured Replies

35554 i just find that water tends to be superior due to its sweeping potential with torrent

Fire starter's Blaze and Grass starter's Overgrow also have the same effect as Water starter's Torrent, though. So I don't think Torrent is the sole reason why Water is superior

35548You don't have 2 types on one poke. and Charizard can learn Earthquake(so op).

Charizard is still able to learn EQ in Gen 2, Gen 3, Gen 4, Gen 5, and Gen 6. Also, we already have lots of dual types in Gen 1, one of them being.....guess what, Charizard.

Other dual types in Gen 1 are Bulbasaur line, Exeggcute line, Jynx, the legendary birds, the fossils, Onix, Dragonite, Geodude line, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Pidgey line, Spearow line, Starmie, and Gastly line.
