Ive recently seen a lot of banned people in the forum. People that has good progress in game and good pokemons. People that had make million on pokemon selling. And i was wondering why they risk their accounts in that way?. I also make this suggestion because i recently had a bad encounter with a guy and just want to use it as example. I want to made it clear that i dont know how the staff works or how they manage the punishment, so i made this just to get clear. It is impossible that all those people get banned because of hacking, glitching, scamming, etc). Some of them maybe insult other people. Or fake buy?

 

Does the staff judge and punish every report the same way? I mean, i dont know if they ban or if they temporarily ban for an offense. And i dont know if ban or temp ban are the only punishments. Maybe the staff can make something like a warning system. Also the rules doesnt make clear how you are punished.

 

If someone insults me, i can report him and he will get banned?

 

I think they are things that decerve a temporary ban and a ban. Hacking or using glitches is bannable, using racist language also can be. But there are things that dont deserve a permanent ban. You should get something like a warning.

 

- I will kill your mother and your friends. I hope your family gets cancer (bannable)

 

But a regular insult (depends on the severity and how long he did it) should not be to insta ban forever.

 

I think that with the actual system people can just report everything they dont like just to get the other person banned.

 

There should be something like a punishment table in which people got his punishment according the severity of his actions or if this action is made multiple times.

 

Fake Buy: It should be punishable as long as the bad player makes lose time (or money to the other player). If they rise the b.o without intention of buying, they should be punished with ban or temp ban. If they make you go from location x to y and they pretty much confirmed it, they should be punished maybe with a warning. What happens if they lose connection?

 

I had an issue with a player that was mad at me. Im pretty sure it was because i didnt sell him something or i directly ignore his absurds offers. I was looking through trade chat and he overpriced an item and me (didnt remenber him) wanted to buy because i missread the price. He pretty much know his price was absurd.

 

Me: Want to buy

Him: Fake buyer? Tell me you are, say yes.

Me: Sorry i missread.

Him: You are lying. You pretty read it right.

 

I mean, the point is, he wanted to trap me or take advantage so he can report me and get me being banned. So he can get his 'revenge'.

 

But i didnt make him lose his time. I think he should be the one punished for being rude and trying to make a situation. Even after you say 'Want to buy' you can pull back the offer and not buy. Cause no one has stated a location yet. The other person can contact the buyer, but if he is offline, the seller just continue with another person and thats it.

Yup, players are encouraged to read our Game Rules, Trade Rules, and Punishment Policy so as to familiarize themselves with what's punishable. :) We do have a concrete Punishment Policy system that we make sure to follow thoroughly, so please rest assured that staff members aren't just randomly applying punishments to players. Every case is looked into with care, and users who are found to have broken rules will be punished appropriately.
