1. How can you obtain a pokemon with hidden ability?

When you catch a Pokemon it has a 5% chance of having it's hidden ability. You can see the Pokemon's hidden ability in the Pokedex.

2. Does "pickup" ability work like the original games (leafgreen/ruby/diamond etc..)?

I assume it works the same in battle but it will have no effect outside of battle, (Finding random items,) as this would make finding rare items a lot easier.

1 - You have 5% of chances to find a pokemon with its hidden ability in the wild

 

2 - Nope, pickup doesn't work here
