Grindfest
Tangela Catch Rate seems broken, it's not even close to the original games. 40 poke balls minimum at 1 hp. Am I missing something? Grindfest
Thanks for not responding to the topic but it's dodging ultra balls as well. This is worse than Murkrow and Tangela isn't supposed to be like this. Guest LiquidSnakeK
Also btw there are things changed in PRO compared to the "original" game. I've caught plenty of tangelas with pokeballs hunting for regen, I've not spent 40 pokeballs on one before. especially if you have a false swiper. You're missing luck. Tangela catch rate in PRO is the same as the original games. Try to use false swipe and status moves (sleep or freeze are recommended) on the Wild Tangela before catching it. Actually, plenty of people successfully caught it without any problems :) Do not contact staff members for private support. Share the question on the forums due to being of use to others. Grindfest
Thanks for answers, looks like I was unlucky for a few Tangelas. Been using False Swipe and it's bearable. Archina
Let's do some number crunching then. As an example We'll use a Lv25 Tangela with 66HP. Assuming all you did was False Swipe it and throw a pokéball you'd have a 17% chance to catch it. If you then paralysed it and threw an ultra ball instead you'd then have a 52% chance. So it's still a pretty easy catch. Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/38720-tangela-catch-rate/#findComment-246230 Share on other sites
