I am a new player and have no idea about ev training. Can you guys tell me if i need to change my team? My team are

Noctowl, Blastoise, Arcanine, Roserade, Sandslash.....

All of them are level 53-56 max....But the highest I can get is give 30% damage to Sabrinas Alakazam and my whole squade gets crushed. Most of the time I black out before 50% Espeon health. But before this gym, I almost won 100% battles without even switching much.....

Am I doing something wrong here? Or does it have anything to do with ev training that I have absolutely no idea how to.

As I am a really new player in PRO so please suggest me something about this ev training and my team...

Thanks a loot in Advance!!....<3 <3

get magnemite with sturdy, use thunderwave on first turn

Use an adamant Gyarados with dragon dance/aqua tail/crunch/ice fang and a timid/modest Gengar with shadow ball/thunderbolt/icy wind/psychic, these two will easily beat Kanto gym leaders and elite 4.

Hi there. As per the rules of the Game Guide subforum:

1. Do not create a guide that is asking a question.

Thus, I've moved your thread to the General Support subforum instead.

A lot of good advice on beating Sabrina has been given so far by other users, so make sure to read through those responses. :)

As for the second part of your question, you don't need to EV train to progress through the story - it's really only necessary for the PvP portion of the game, should you choose to get involved with that. It doesn't hurt to EV train for the story, by any means, but you can still do fine simply by leveling your Pokemon up enough and using type advantages wisely. In case you decide EV training is something you want to do anyway, though, here's a guide that discusses EV training in great depth.
