A real fighter doesn't dash off in the pursuit of next victory or throw a fit when experience a loss.

A real fighter ponders about his upcoming battles

Usually what a team ideally is supposed to consist of is 2 atk sweepers/ 2spatk sweepers/ and 2 walls. Some people have "remixed" (if you would) this idea and have adjusted to how the pvp meta works on PRO. What I would do is look up the base stats of the pokemon that are implemented ingame and see which ones have the most promising ones while also considering the items we have implemented ingame at the moment and taking a look at the rules of PVP. If you need anything KP just let me know~ ^_^

I won't suggest a team (because it would be pointless to you if you don't have the knowledge of what it does) but: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=98

Here's the PvP section of the forum. If you look over the threads about what's "viable" in the current PRO PvP, you can see the list of Pokemon that people tend to use the most. And make your team from there, trying to cover whatever holes you need to fill in your team. (tho honestly PRO PvP is mostly boring stall team)

Would also suggest doing some battling either on PRO or on Showdown so you can actually understand what the team itself is supposed to do/how it plays. Trust me, it won't do you any good if someone just handles you a team that you do not know what to do with.

p.s. you should also inform yourself on what items/abilities/movesets are available on PRO by researching it on the forum.

I've read about and they say it's good to have: A sweeper (one that can outspeed and kill the entire opponent team if you have make some preparations);

A revenge killer (a fast pokemon or one that has priority moves that can kill a weakened opponent poke with ease);

An wall (a poke that can check and take hits from threats to your team by stalling the foe to death);

A lead (a poke that is fast enough to taunt/put their foe to sleep and throw an entry hazard like stealth rock or anti lead fake out/multihit moves or tanky pokes to counter other common leads and/or focus sash users);

A support of some sort (a poke that can pass wishes, heal negative status, a rapid spinner to take out entry hazards, a baton passer);

And a wallbreaker (a poke that has enormous offensive stats and that can check and break down other walls).

Of course, you may want your team to have synergy and always having counter measures to threats, otherwise you will encounter a lot of situations that will lead you to an easy loss. And there are more advanced strategies, like a full stall team or an offensive team having double baton pass that you may discover along the way.

Hi there. I've moved your topic to the PvP Assistance subforum so that you can get further opinions on teambuilding for PvP. You may also enjoy reading through this guide on preparing for competitive gameplay.

Good luck!
