New sectors for the Forum

Featured Replies

We could have forums for each country. What do you think about that?

Thinking about the users, that would be more comfortable. Make posts in our own language and read topics also in our own language.

The question of comfort really help people like me, who can understand a little English, but not 100% and also has difficulties in forming texts ...

That would leave the very busiest forum for other users who don't understand English very well.

We could even split by regions such as in other games. In addition to the original forum that we have open sectors for NA, EU, BRA, JP, KR, and others.

Thank you in advance.

Hi there, although your idea look good, however it has so much disadvantages.

First, it is impossible for have forum for each country (if you don't know PRO players has so much country in there) -> Number of languages.

Second, the great number of languages will make huge number of post with same information, just different languages. And it not mean that every languages will make the same quality and quantity topic. It led to people need information will also go to other language for finding information needed. This things just make people take more time -> Duplicated with numerous topic in the same information.

Third, we have test as allow some other languages in guild sections. However, the players translate just make some minor guides and then they burn out quickly and give up. It led to in guild section, have some guides (with other language) and it just make forum more messup.

Last, we have forum rules, which need to control by PRO staffs, as you slip more language/regions, staffs take more work from this. If you don't know everyday, Staffs needs to approve post, check the topics and so on. It is very much things to do, and your suggestion only make it more stress as well as lack of staffs.

The best solution is learn English, using google translate, Youtube in own language or even make unofficial forum. However, the official forum will keep in English only.

If we create only "OFF TOPICS" for each languages? Nothing very serious business topics like Suggestions, Reports, Bugss... These would remain the only usage of the English language.

You can have variety of topics that are created in your native language. Off Topic, Guild Threats etc. etc. There are certain reasons behind this. One being the moderation, which is atleast made of 70% of the staff, where you'd have to put a certain staff member who is bilingual to watch a specific thread(s). This is not a healthy moderation tactic. On that regard, i'd say having a forum section solely made for a certain language is a bad idea, where the tracking of the context plus the workload unnecessarily divided among certain staff members as well as isolating the thread from the rest of the players whom do not speak the said language is not feasable. I wouldn't personaly mind having a topic where you'd be able to write in your own language as well as adding a translation of it in english to the bottom of it to create a more open and easily viewable discussion for the collective of people and staff alike.
