Nicknames (Yes, I know this is in List of denied and non-negotiable suggestions)

BUT, I think Nicknaming Pokemon is very important in Pokemon, It could be 1 week, 1 month, 1 year, 10 years from now that nicknames will be implemented.

 

Here's my idea:

 

In multiplayer battles/ranked/when you trade pokemon, the nicknames REVERT to the classic names, so it'd just be in the story mode there would be nicknames. For the data, I don't know how you would do it. You would only be able to nickname ONE pokemon per region.

This is a free to play game, run by a small team. I dunno about you, but it seems like it'll be hard to implement into the game. Just imagine what you want to call the pokes, the name honestly doesn't matter imo. It's just a Pokemon.

or get a sticky label and stick it over the side bar of each poke. :Ambivalent:

Nicknames have been suggested a countless amount of times. There is already a clear reason for why they wont be implemented and to be honest, I don't find nicknames to be that important.

Hi there, you not need sorry for suggestion or asking something. Staff pleasure to hear your idea, however, as it already mention and having reasons for it. I will not say that your idea is not valid, but it might consider after we go through all priority list (which is need time). So I will temporary locked this topic as not possible at this time.
