I think it would clutter things up by adding which poke ball you used to catch the Pokemon. In theory, it doesn't really matter what ball you used once you caught it.

Since for the moment (as far as I know) the only Pokeballs available are poke/great/ultra, maybe once more of the unique types of balls are implemented (Heavy, Fast, Love etc.) I don't see why a icon of the ball used to capture a Pokemon couldn't be put somewhere, strictly for those who like to brag about catching a Pokemon with a low catch rate with a normal Pokeball or w/e. For now even if there was a possibility of this being a thing, there are plenty of more important things to be done.

This is actually a solid idea (for suggestion 1), i also like to see what ball a pokemon was caught with. Maybe in the future this could happen (not promising anything though ;))
